Help Classic LifeCare support relief efforts in the Philippines following the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan on Nov. 9.
An estimated 10,000 people were killed by the typhoon, which, if confirmed, would make this the deadliest natural catastrophe on record in the Philippines.
“It is hard to watch the coverage of the Typhoon Haiyan disaster knowing so many of our staff and their families are affected,” says John Sherwood, CEO of Classic LifeCare. “As we all know, the Filipino community makes such important contributions to our company and Canadian health care generally. Now that their community is in such great need, it is important everyone at Classic LifeCare and beyond does what they can to support relief efforts.”
If you donate money to the relief effort through Classic LifeCare, we will match your donation dollars. All money raised through Classic LifeCare will be donated to The Red Cross, which will be matched by the Canadian government, if received by Dec. 8.
This way, your donation will be doubled and then doubled again. Your donation of $1 becomes $2 with Classic’s contribution, which becomes $4 with the Canadian government’s contribution.
You can make a donation at any Classic LifeCare office in person or by phoning the office and requesting money come off your paycheque.
