There were 8 of us women who enjoyed a social evening of chopping healthy vegetables and creating a wonderful aroma of simmering soups of many kinds – our group which included us at Classic LifeCare as well as some sisters & friends helped add to the hearty and delicious soup cart.
Soup Sisters/Broth Brothers is an organization that looks to the public to join their soup making nights & keep it sustainable. All the soup goes to local shelters mainly focused on women and children who have experienced domestic violence. By the end of the night we contributed to 89 liters of soup which will feed close to 200 people.
A warm evening enjoyed by all in creating ‘a hug in a cup’.
